Rise and Shine with Sunshine
As a technician at Sunshine Air Conditioning, my day starts early. I’m up at 6 AM, ready to tackle the challenges that come with keeping our customers cool and comfortable in the Florida heat. After a quick breakfast and a strong cup of coffee, I head out to our office in Belleview, FL.
Morning Briefing and First Call
At 7:30 AM, we have our morning briefing. Today, I’m assigned to an AC installation in The Villages. I load up my truck with the necessary equipment and hit the road.
Midday Service Calls
After completing the installation, I head to Summerfield for a couple of HVAC service calls. These typically involve:
- Diagnosing system issues
- Replacing worn parts
- Cleaning or replacing filters
- Checking refrigerant levels
Afternoon AC Maintenance
Post-lunch, I’m off to Silver Springs Shores for scheduled AC maintenance appointments. These routine check-ups are crucial for preventing major breakdowns and ensuring optimal system performance.
Emergency Call and Wrap-up
As I’m finishing up my last maintenance call, I receive an emergency request from a customer in Marion Oaks. Their AC has completely shut down on one of the hottest days of the year. I rush over, quickly identify the issue, and get their system back up and running.
By 6 PM, I’m back at the Sunshine Air Conditioning office in Belleview, wrapping up paperwork and preparing for another day of keeping our customers cool and comfortable across Marion County.
